Why the event?
We wanted to create an online gaming event in Turku too. A LAN event is a unique, community-driven place for anyone interested in gaming to gather and meet each other.
Is the event safe?
The event is safe and substance-free; it has security personnel around the clock.
At the event kulkeminen
The event has free movement - you can come and go as you please.
Accessibility
Our goal is always to run the event in an accessible space. Our staff will help with access arrangements if needed. We want the event to be accessible to everyone, so please feel free to contact staff if you need help or more information about the venue.
Juhannuskukkula is accessible and has an elevator!

Checklist the event for attendees
Arrival
The event is at the Juhannuskukkula school buildingn liikuntasalissa: Kukkulakuja 3, 20100 Turku.
Parking is free for the entire duration of the LAN. Kadunvarresta löytyy fyysiset opasteet to the venue.

You can bring your own food and drink, but we also provide them at the event.

What are LANs and LAN gaming?
Lanit eli online gaming event on perinteinen cultural event, jossa nuoret pääsevät sosialisoitumaan ja viettämään aikaa yhdessä muiden videopeleistä kiinnostuneiden nuorten kanssa.
Where and when?
Tapahtuma järjestetään 18–21.9.2026, Juhannuskukkulan liikuntasalissa.
Event officially begins perjantai-iltana ja päättyy Monday aamupäivällä. Ovet aukeavat jo Friday illalla yöpyjille ja niille, jotka haluavat auttaa rakentamisessa.
Safety and rules
The event has trained security personnel and first aid on site around the clock. The event is täysin substance-free ja lapsiystävällinen. Tarkemmat säännöt löytyvät here.
Theft and vandalism are rare at LAN events, but to ensure safety we carry out security checks at the event when needed and a paid coat check is also available for valuables.
Nukkuminen
At the event on mahdollista yöpyä. Alueella on henkilökunnan valvonta ja tarvittaessa apua saa nopeasti - henkilökunta on aina are available nearby. Please take care of your own belongings and be mindful of other overnight guests. Quiet hours apply in the sleeping area. Power outlets are available.

Event rules
Security checks are performed and the gaming area is under video surveillance.
Kielletty
- Bladed weapons and other dangerous items are prohibited.
- Alkoholi on at the event kielletty.
- Väkivaltainen ja pornografinen sisältö on kielletty.
General
- Smoking and vaping are permitted only outdoors in the designated area.
- The event is substance-free. Intoxicated persons may be removed by staff. Intoxicated persons are not admitted to the venue.
- Parents will be notified of underage substance use.
- Organisers have a duty to report varkaudet ja ilkivalta poliisille.
- Jatkuva disruptive behaviour, varoituksista huolimatta, on peruste about the event poistamiselle.
- At the event on hiljaisuus kello 02:00–10:00, älkää soittako silloin musiikkia.
- The event organisers reserve the right to change the rules if necessary.
Safe space principles
The event is a safe and equal place for everyone. Discrimination, harassment, bullying, racism, sexism or any other inappropriate behaviour of any kind is prohibited.
Please respect other attendees and their boundaries. If you experience or witness inappropriate behaviour, please report it to a security officer or event staff. Together we ensure the event is a good and safe experience for everyone.
